I'm not personally aware of any studies. "In my experience" means it's anecdotal.
Funny that it's fine if most people talk about their firsthand experience here and their personal opinions of their firsthand experience but I'm generally given open hostility and dismissiveness for the same on health topics.
I have no plans to describe the technique here. I blog elsewhere. I get zero respect and loads of contempt. I don't think this is a genuine good faith inquiry.
After being here so many years, I think if people actually wanted to know what I think works, my blogs would have traction.
They don't. Instead, I get polite inquiries asking me to prove the unprovable as the default engagement.
- warkdarrior 2y agoI searched for "cartilage" and "joint" on your blog, but got no hits. Any specific blog posts you can suggest to read?
- DoreenMichele 2y agoI have many blogs. This is a search for "cartilage" on my health site: https://atypicalcysticfibrosis.blogspot.com/search?q=Cartilage https://atypicalcysticfibrosis.blogspot.com/search?q=Cartila...

- toss1 2y agoI am also definitely interested in any info (including anecdotal and/or unproven), but was unable to find any searching your website. Any more specific links or hints you can post? TIA
- DoreenMichele 2y agoCartilage heals slow because it gets no direct blood supply. All surrounding tissues need to improve their status before cartilage starts to heal because everything goes in and out via osmosis, not via the blood. https://atypicalcysticfibrosis.blogspot.com/2022/08/circulation.html https://atypicalcysticfibrosis.blogspot.com/2022/08/circulat... I'm done engaging with this this discussion. I'm not a doctor. I'm a dirt poor freelance writer who has been mocked on HN for years for trying to figure out how to support myself. If you need medical care, see a doctor. If you need free miracle cures, try church. I have bills to pay and the world has made it abundantly clear it does not care and I should stop whining. So I feel zero obligation to care about your problems and trying to help you for free out of the goodness of my heart.
- toss1 2y agoThanks for the tip, I'll check it out! I'm not asking for care or free help, but when one publishes a statement claiming to have helpful info but no details or links, it will usually lead to interested people asking for more. This should not be a cause for surprise or resentment; I'm sorry to have prompted such feelings. I hope you soon get well and succeed in monetizing your skills. (edit: missing "when")

- toss1 2y agoJust a suggestion, but I've found that at least here on HN, it matters less what do as how you do it. When things are presented at "Here's this solid discovery", people will pretty quickly ask for proof; they want backup, to build on it, or to take the poster down a peg. If the same thing is instead presented as "I've done some work on this, I know it's only N=1, but here's what I found", you'll generally get either just read or curious inquiries. Yes, "generally" is doing a lot of work there, but that's what I've seen here. YMMV, and good fortune!
