Is it really so fundamentally different from GCP No, they're all mostly the same on a fundamental level. If you're familiar with any of the big three, you're far ahead of someone who has never used public cloud before when learning a new one. Nonetheless, some employers won't want to eat the cost of getting you up to speed. Employers I've been exposed to tend not to care which public cloud you've used, just that you're familiar with how cloud works overall.
