Ah, I guess things are a bit different in Europe with 230V. My corded chainsaw is 2400W (10A) and my corded wood chipper is 2800W (12A). I've also heard that our extension cords are typically thinner (1.5mm2 gauge) and easier to handle for the same reason.
- bryanlarsen 2y agoI was having trouble imagining being satisfied with a 1500W chipper.
- ewgoforth 2y agoIn the US we have the option of 220/240 V, but I'm not aware of any corded chainsaw that use that. It's typically used by electric stoves, clothes dryers, etc. We use 110/120 Volts for most appliances for safety reasons.
