shift-enter would also work for adding a newline into your messages, IIRC. It still works that way in many apps.

- amatecha 2y agoOften! Then there's Google Sheets, where a new line is Alt-Enter, and pressing Shift-Enter actually bumps you to the vertically-prior cell. haha :(
