If it's under warranty (be it 1 year or Apple Care), aren't you not supposed to remove or replace the drive?
- reneherse 14y agoNot sure. I've only replaced a drive in an out-of-warranty machine, but it didn't raise any eyebrows when I brought it into an Apple store for major repairs. For what it's worth, I used the same OEM.
