Electric cars are expensive. Why don't billionaires buy them for everyone?
The same for well insulated housing, shingles vaccines, solar roofs, private tutors, etc.
If we were to force or otherwise 'encourage' billionaires to pay for these, the supply of people willing to put in the effort to become such would dry up.
- leumassuehtam 2y agoThat's a fallacy. Do you really believe that paying taxes (essentially what you mean about buying things for everyone else) would stop one to want to become a billionaire? It's about incentives, not taxation.
