Yes, this idea sells well. Folks have been selling that idea as long as we have records of folks doing anything at all.
It is just not helpful to think like that and to address problems as if each one is an existential threat.
- andy81 2y agoUse of many natural resources jumped by orders of magnitude since the industrial revolution; comparing the current situation with historical records would give you a false sense of confidence. That's actually part of the problem with climate change.
