  Well, no, that’s why it’s a rumour i.e. a currently circulating story of uncertain or doubtful truth. Maybe it’s just that there is a major issue with all the C3 scanners currently on the market which was somehow missed during all these years of strenuous certification. Who knows? Certainly not me.
