Is eating in front of the TV that bad for you?
- dave4420 2y agoProbably but “One analysis of studies, for example, found that there's little evidence suggesting we eat more when watching TV compared to doing other things, such as reading, playing video games or eating with friends.” hinting that it’s not the tv as such, but the distraction from the food.
- h2odragon 2y agoEating in front of the TV is good for me, especially if i have company. Other people always like to talk during meals; the TV cuts that down a lot. If I try to talk while eating it doesn't work; I no longer have the lung capacity. I have to do one or the other. Others cannot understand this. the TV serves as a "please shut up" distraction for them.
