- xvector 2y agoBecause our society is rooted in puritanical, old and crude notions of what it means to be human. This makes its way into legislation. It is one of the reasons I despise the FDA, it is an incredibly narrow-minded institution. If you made a drug that immeasurably improved QoL for 99.99% of users, you still wouldn't be allowed to sell it. The administration sucks.
