In this economy? With this lingering long-term virus that we still haven't eradicated? Pure hubris and stupidity if you think it is a smart idea to bring a life into in bold letters this world.
But that's just my opinion.
- gus_massa 2y agoWe survived many virus before. This is not even the first coronavirus, and it will not be the last. Usually it's easier to control: * 2012 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MERS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MERS * 2002 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SARS https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SARS so probably one every 10 years. And also a new bad variant of flu every 5 years And many other nasty stuff like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polio https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polio that is very close to extinction now.
