Maybe a coworker asks you where you were born and you don't want to talk about it.
- jcranmer 2y ago"Prefer not to answer" is always an option on forms, for example.
- ceejayoz 2y agoElon Musk was born in South Africa. This does not tell you his race.
- hollerith 2y agoThere is almost a taboo on asking that question unless the askee is a friend or almost-friend or the asker is a government organization or maybe a school or employer. At least where I live in California.
