I mean this with 100% transparency and good intent: you really should speak to someone.
I have no idea if your assertions are true or well-supported - it's honestly not relevant to my concern. Your OP "feels" like messages I've gotten in the past with friends experiencing a mental health crisis.
You likely won't believe my response either. That's fine, I don't expect you to. I ask one thing of you, though: if you get to the point where you're about to make a decision that will impact your life or the lives of others based on these beliefs, at least consider the possibility that you can't trust your own perceptions.
As best I can tell, one of two things is happening here: either you've uncovered a serious and pervasive breach of trust spanning multiple industries and nations, or you're experiencing a mental health crisis. I know I wouldn't want to go through either of those things alone.
If you'd like someone to talk to, you can reach me at nominallyanonymous@protonmail.com. I'll respond with my direct contact details so we can connect.
I am emphatically not a doctor, nor am I otherwise qualified to make a diagnosis. All I can offer you is the sympathetic ear - but it's something. If you're willing to take my concern for you seriously, I'll take your concern seriously in return.
I'll watch my email inbox for the rest of the day. I hope I hear from you.
