When I was pricing baby grands (admittedly 10 years ago) they started at under $10k each in the USA. Were they Bosendorfer pianos or something like that?

When I was pricing baby grands (admittedly 10 years ago) they started at under $10k each in the USA. Were they Bosendorfer pianos or something like that?
- defrost 2y agoI didn't pay attention the one time I saw them, it came up in a later conversation with friends who were serious about playing music and another who was getting into making instruments that these were a matched pair of artisinal piano's made by a craftsman of note talked about in hushed tones .. etc. Not the most expensive piano's in the world .. but collectables in the upper range. In musical terms I'm more the can lift heavy objects and hit things mostly in time sort.
