Wait, what do you mean? Are you aware it is not a real recall and almost all previous Tesla recalls weren't real recalls either?

- foxyv 2y agoThe NHTSA ordered a "recall" but Tesla found a way to fix the issue with an OTA software update so the cars do not need to be returned for servicing. > Although the problem is with the hood latch, as with many Tesla safety recalls, the problem can be fixed with an over-the-air software patch. The new software is able to detect if the hood is open and, if so, will display a warning to the driver to alert them to stop their vehicle and secure the hood.
