Not dissimilar to how instead of just cloning my pre-compressed repos in a simple few seconds operation, "AI" scrappers prefer to request every single revision of every single .c file through the web interface with all the useless (for them) bells an whistles. Web interface which I have set up as cgi and therefore it will take them longer to finish scrapping than the age of the universe. But in the meanwhile they waste me power and resources.
