Indian techie narrates how they are being replaced with Vietnam developers
- hiAndrewQuinn 2y agoInterestingly, both Vietnam and the Philippines actually have substantially higher GDPs per Capita than India does on a country wide basis. [1] [1]: https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.PCAP.CD?locations=IN-PH-VN&start=2013 https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/NY.GDP.PCAP.CD?location... ... But the GDP per capita of, say, Bangalore is much higher than the Indian average, at around $25,000, whereas the GDP per Capita around e.g. Manila seems closer to only $9,000 or $10,000, and HCM City is around $7,000. This lends credence to the idea that Indian devs might be getting further outsourced to these other areas.

The education that was giving USA, India and EU usually now available for others via online free courses across internet.
