The most amazing thing is that Musk has solid 10 year history of saying Tesla robotaxis are one year away.
- TheAlchemist 2y agoIt's fascinating ! The car was supposed to drive itself from LA to NY in 2017 ? And any other road connected land 'not separated by a border' :D Whether they end up solving autonomy or not (they will, just as a lot of other companies will too) is irrelevant by now - this was very clearly a calculated lie. One way or the other, this period will be studied a lot in the future. The question is - in business schools or law schools ?
- WheelsAtLarge 2y agoI think he's a snake oil salesman at his core but his primary success is his long-term view and ability to stick to it. Go back 10 years in space x and you will hear the same type of things from him but here we are and space x is doing incredible things. He's right on robotaxis but the question is whether any one of us will be around to see them as a success.
