  Both of these have legal percussions: Microsoft could very well be called a competitor of CS, so they cannot force them to do something without getting accused of abusing their market position; and a publicly traded company badmouthing another publicly traded company with an awfully complex web of mutual investments is a very bad idea in general. It’s not that easy.
