- tonymet 2y agoi thought crowdstrike provided features that go beyond windows defender. is there another MS product that competes?
- abhinavk 2y agoThere is a paid version called Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- superposeur 2y agoFWIW, here is CrowdStrike’s own comparison of features: https://www.crowdstrike.com/compare/crowdstrike-vs-microsoft-defender/ https://www.crowdstrike.com/compare/crowdstrike-vs-microsoft...
- ryukoposting 2y agoInteresting that they bill Defender as "requiring frequent OS updates," alleging that their solution is somehow better in that regard. Are the suggesting that by installing CrowdStrike, you don't need to update Windows anymore? It really reads like that.

- aaronmdjones 2y agoThat's hilarious considering that it was a frequent CrowdStrike update that resulted in this chaos.
