For starters, the graph would have been easier to intuit if time had been on the usual horizontal axis. That would better illustrate the “point of diminishing returns”, which is the theme they’re trying to explore. By presenting it in this confusing configuration it seems more profound than it is.
- rileymat2 2y agoYes, I interpreted it as a sum of total value over lifetime; but when you are building it, the software could live for 1 year or 20, in very unpredictable ways.
