I don't see how the novas (which happened long, long ago) would be stopped by anything happening in any version of the 1980s.
- DennisP 2y agoI guess the idea would be to send FTL probes into space in all directions, so they can see the light heading our way from novas and report back. However, accomplishing this seems considerably more difficult than finding an underwater buoy.
