Was just frustratingly designing a new daw for myself and my needs in my head while playing the other day. The options I’ve tried seem to all want to be a “kitchen sink” type, and sometimes do incredibly frustrating things, especially around file management. Currently using Ardor as my daily driver on Ubuntu Studio. If anyone has suggestions on better DAWs, or batteries included OS’ like Ubunutu Studio, that are FOSS I’d love to hear about your workflow.
