The life of two Boeing Starliner astronauts stuck indefinitely in space
- mensetmanusman 2y agoSpaceX should be asked to save them.
- lhamil64 2y agoFrom the article: > But they’ve said repeatedly that the astronauts are not stranded and that in the case of an emergency, they could fly home in Starliner. SpaceX’s Dragon capsule, which has been flying astronauts to the space station for NASA since 2020, could be used as a backup if necessary, NASA officials said. So I guess that's somewhat a possibility?
- sammyo 2y agoNoticed a comment in /r/spacex from a reliable poster that there are very quiet ongoing discussions between NASA and Spacex.

- nojvek 2y agoNot William and Wilmore’s first rodeo. They have 500+ days of Space station experience between them. If they were stuck in starliner capsule, that would suck. Space Station is fairly hospitable. Also NASA has many options, SpaceX dragon is a proven vehicle. “Stuck Indefinitely” is a strong word here. They aren’t stranded, it’s a well supported mission.
