Ask HN: What's the best software to manage email campaigns?
Curious on the take of the community
- jaynate 2y agoDepends on so many things, and there are so many providers out there. What industry are you in and what are you aiming to accomplish? Who are your email recipients / targets?
- taylodl 2y agoRight? I work with multiple organizations and they tend to use Salesforce or Mail Chimp. Why? Like you say, it depends on so many things.
- santy-gegen 2y agoa simple newsletter for users, do you think mailchimp might work accurately for it?
- fidla 2y agoMailChimp is good up to 2000 people free. Salesforce is very expensive
- santy-gegen 2y agothx for the info, very kind! :)
- solardev 2y agoIt really depends on your needs, volume, and budget. Mailchimp is probably the "default" option, but there's also ConstantContact, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, etc. It's also a question of what other services you might need to integrate into (your CRM or sales funnel or analytics or whatever).
- santy-gegen 2y agothanks for this great info! it seems like mailchimp is the plain vanilla version. i learnt sth today :)
