You're being generous. 100 years is already after the Bolshevik coup and the civil war. No, this behavior started somewhen in imperial Russia. In late empire the paranoia that "the world is out to get us" was already present.
- dmix 2y agoI watched 2 different 1hr video series on Russian Navy and one of their Airforce https://youtu.be/ny4AYOv-nUk?si=EifXBMWjR0mCu__4 https://youtu.be/ny4AYOv-nUk?si=EifXBMWjR0mCu__4 https://youtu.be/f95oBKLODE0?si=ctUvLwMFn6LZ_PPB https://youtu.be/f95oBKLODE0?si=ctUvLwMFn6LZ_PPB And the main theme for both was the more things change the more things stay the same in Russia. Their behaviour transcend local political or economic disasters they invent for themselves, to the point it's either just their culture or genetics. They are forever destined to pretending they are part of the system of the modern world enjoys as a Potemkin "superpower" while forever embarassing themselves while blaming everyone else but themselves and never fixing the root causes.
