California's largest wildfire explodes in size as fires rage across US West
- s1artibartfast 2y agoI find Caltopo to be the best tool for tracking fires. https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=40.1343,-121.39893&z=8&b=mbt&a=fire_recent%2Cmodis_mp https://caltopo.com/map.html#ll=40.1343,-121.39893&z=8&b=mbt... Satellite IR shows the current fire and burn direction in better time than published maps. It also shows previous fires to give context for barriers to spread and intensity.
