I still find I have to think quite a lot about using CoPilot, I kind of use it like a search engine to see if will suggest the right thing for me, kind of like "jogging my memory". I could probably go without CoPilot but I couldn't go without LSP servers, which have nothing to do with AI but have substantially improved my ability to write fast accurate code. If anything, when AI is wrong, I think it heavily negates the benefits of the few correct suggestions it provides.
