AWS Discontinues Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB)

  Interesting that AWS is shutting down services. Didn't think that was something they did. The article does mention OpsWorks which I knew they were reducing support for but didn't realise they were shutting down too.

  The migration architecture recommending Postgres as a replacement did make me chuckle too and made me wonder if that's what QLDB used too.

  QLDB was proposed by Amazon's DistSys experts as a replacemnent for Private/Permissioned DLT/Blockchains. Now they're suggesting to replace it with Postgres. Conclusion: you don't need a Blockchain - use Postgres ;)
