I liked this: >The trouble is that when the truth gets stretched far enough, something eventually breaks. The chart wasn't as convincing to me. Well, some of it is, e.g. trust in tech industry and public schools is at 40 year lows. Most of the other institutions of society have somewhat higher trust levels now than their all time lows. That seems too cheery to be realistic to me. Of course, the levels have been low for decades, so it is just depressing overall.
