I like [watching] sports, but I would never put in the 5 AM training, the weekends, the specific nutrition, the constant competition, etc., even if I had the talent, which I don't. On the other hand, I really like to read and learn and I do it on my own all the time, whereas most people I know really don't do that.

> I really like to read I'm continually surprised how many people don't do this I suspect that people DO read more and are probably more literate (from looking at phone screens), but maybe there is more distracting easy-to-consume media nowadays.
