- alephnerd 2y agoOpenRoad is part of the program mentioned in the DARPA article. It's part of the larger chiplet initiative that DARPA has been driving since 2013 after what became the Super Micro scandal started in 2008-2011 [0][1]. Most US-China decoupling news and nearshoring you hear about now was stuff we started dealing with 10-20 years ago. I've yelled myself hoarse on HN evangelizing that fact.
