Mistral’s new model is not fully open source because it’s got the same problem as “Open”AI: closed output, the output is not usable for work in any form without technically violating the bullshit customer noncompete policy, and it’s not shareable for the same reason, that would help their competitors learn (gasp)
- benreesman 2y agoIt’s “available weight”. In the context of an ugly power grab by people who do business with the NSA in broad daylight and call it “democratic”? I think it’s pretty clear who is “open” and who is an aspiring fascist.
