Every time I go on that website and see the “age slider” Lora, I wonder how the fuck that website continues to exist.
There is so much icky shit in text-to-image and I’m frankly amazed that the employees of stability AI have not gotten in trouble yet for the fact that they used CSAM during training of stable diffusion 1.5.

- Der_Einzige 2y agoAnd yes, during training, you have to at some point have its bytes on the training machine (not just links). By that definition, the folks who authorized training of their model with this dataset technically committed a big scary crime.
- jrm4 2y agoI'm guessing you mean a child-porn related crime here, which -- maybe -- but we're still in the process of determining whether the other crime/tort did, which would be copyright infringement.
