I love Amex generally, but they are the sole card issuer who has outright denied charging a vendor back - or even blocking future transactions. I had to close my account to get it to stop. Not even reissuing a new card helped due to the protocols vendors have now to do recurring billing over number changes. Just a word of caution for an anyone taking this as gospel as I did.
