- strikelaserclaw 2y agoIt is not the same thing but probably related to whatever mechanism in the brain causes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Out-group_homogeneity https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Out-group_homogeneity - The people in a position of power regularly interact with the ceo, so they can see all the nuances that go with that but to most people at the top, "employees" is a homogenous bunch of replaceable cogs.
