- shmeeed 2y agoMalaysia: Your product is faulty and caused us damages Microsoft: Nobody forced you to use our product
- atoav 2y agoYeah that is no argument. Microsoft is a defacto monopolist and everywhere where e.g. municipalities tried to switch to Linux they lobbied hard against it. If Microsoft wants to keep that cash making machine it should fulfill some minimum guarantees and feel consequences if their choices lead to damages. I'd like to see you driving a car, flying a plane or riding a train that was built with your "no guarantees"-mindset. Aren't the benefits of modern society that we can bite into a piece of food from the supermarket without dying because we didn't research the exact places where it was made? This is only possible with standards and checks.
