Why is this a link to a tweet by a guy whose entire public persona is "AI bad! AI bad! AI bad!" rather than the actual article?

  Probably because theinformation.com is hardwalled and thus, unfortunately, off topic for HN. If there's a more substantive article that people can actually read, we can switch the URL to that.
