- numair 2y agoAs someone who works in an office alongside Japanese illustrators and graphic designers, I would like to know where the manga-style training data came from, and what is being done to ensure that the artists are fairly compensated?
- kaepernick7 2y agoCurrently we’re using open sourced data and third party models. Our vision is to help creators monetize on their data and skillset, so we’re in conversation with creators to build a long-term equitable solution. We’d love to chat more and discuss any ideas you have! Feel free to send us an email at support@lumistory.ai
- meristohm 2y agoWhat is the total embodied-energy cost to establish and operate your product? What are the benefits?
- kaepernick7 2y agoThe biggest problem we’re tackling is that the majority of stories don’t get told. Let’s take comics for example. As a creator, you either have to: have significant money, a specialized skillset (e.g. writing, illustrating), time + energy, or connections. Usually all four. Lumi unlocks all of these. Now, everyone has access and opportunity to tell their stories. Beyond this, creators finally have a one-stop shop to publish and monetize without sacrificing major creative control and rev-share.
