As a Chinese person, I have a question: Is it considered a political mistake to mention one’s Chinese background in narratives in the United States?
- defrost 2y agoIn the sense of American nationals will berate you for being Chinese and limit your employment opportunities, or in the sense of other Chinese Nationals relaying your really very funny Winnie the Pooh joke back home to China and connecting it to any family you have there? I can't speak for the US but I can say that Chinese people in Australia have had issues after returning to China as a result of things said here in Australia.
