That one made me laugh out loud.
> social media and smart phones
"Got to be them social media and dem phones." says supposed smart person.
The absolute best part is that the article doesn't talk about a big part of the issue: money; *but the end of the article paragraph shilling CNBC crap does*:
" Want to stop worrying about money? Sign up for CNBC’s new online course ..."
Just hilarious.
But to get more specific, they have some recommendations for how to address lack of happiness that are also pretty funny:
> Decide what your values are and structure your behaviors to align with them.
Can't change your behaviours if you're trapped in a bad situation because of money.
> Become more aware of unhelpful comparisons and use comparison for your benefit.
Yes, compare yourself to other wage slaves, or other peers that can't afford healthcare.
> Focus on reducing stress levels.
Then the coup de grâce, because: "Too much stress can lead to health issues including heart problems ...". And I can just hear a panicked 20-something in my head:
"Shit! I don't have healthcare now, how am I supposed to afford having heart
problems?! This article is stressing me out!
An amazing article from start to finish, really made me laugh.
