It's sad to see a great company like HG to reach this situation, the one and only to offered in that time many of the most influential and foundational indie games, also worried about being fair to players and present a fair alternative to Steam with his DRM-free options.
- edude03 2y agoAccording the the humble games website though: > Humble Games is an indie video games publisher owned by Humble Bundle that is dedicated to bringing you great games the Humble way. So, humble bundle owns humble games, and this doesn't (explicitly) mean anything will happen to the humble bundle DRM free game store front
- jprete 2y agoHumble Bundle doesn't own Humble Games at this point, they sold it to Ziff Davis.
- edude03 2y agoOf zdnet fame? That's pretty neat! Point still stands though - presumably DRM free games will continue to exist regardless of the humble games layoffs (though, not to imply that the situation isn't terrible, it is)
