That sucks for Sam. I've seen luxury homes and normal homes and all homes have problems and luxury ones tend to be way more expensive. What I mean is that price is not a substitute for quality. California should have new home warranty protection though and maybe that would cover significant remodels and what not. I am sure he tried the warranty remedy though, or maybe the lawsuit is to force that. A lien will get paid at closing. It does no-one any favors and may be criminal. If anyone is going to find them it's a billionaire.
