I saw a 450k for a C++ dev in a HFT firm in Switzerland.
- sureglymop 2y agoNever saw anything like this (also in Switzerland). Seems also especial hard to find a Rust job here (which is just what's most fun these days).
- borroka 2y agoApart from the fact that the only truth comes from the W2 tax document or equivalent, FAANGs jobs are, in general and in the grand scheme of things, fairly accessible, while some very high-paying jobs people are talking about here are the equivalent of "I saw someone making 5 million USD per year playing soccer".
- zerr 2y agoI've never seen a HFT opening that didn't require existing HFT experience :) Similar to game dev positions, but these pay pennies of course.
