Just make the CarPlay stream another app. Regardless, RJs point is moot. CarPlay 2 offers integrated support for car controls, and CarPlay 1 allowed apps to do the same. Other companies do this already like Porsche. This is just JD trying to justify not opening up their ecosystem because it’ll be a long term revenue stream for them.
