I'm personally less averse to calling that stuff out these days because I found that I wasn't exactly getting job opportunities in the current market by playing it safe. Since being quiet and uncontroversial doesn't even work, what's the point? I think people are making a mistake by not saying what they actually think. The only reason I don't have a blog yet is inertia/laziness. It'll happen eventually.
