While that exact sort of experience is alien to me (my capacity for happiness or excitement is generally very muted), thanks to analogous enough experiences I can definitely see how that could become uncontrollable if people have them at hand. If someone gave me 2 pounds of gummi bears that were secretly caffeinated, I could see doing something similar to myself.
