Netflix was pretty much allowed to run uncontested for years.
When the industry finally figured out Netflix was eating their lunch it was too late to catch up.
- whywhywhywhy 2y agoIt’s not at all, does anyone even think Netflix is a good offering anymore for what you pay. Content wise they could absolutely be competed with if you built good content consistently, it’s just most players in the game don’t seem bothered to do that and want to get to where Netflix is today (content wasteland resting on past numbers) without the golden age of Netflix.
