Raymond is a very smart and productive person, and is not maligning C++ at all in this article. It makes me want to reassess my bittersweet perspective on the language.
- doctorpangloss 2y agoOn the flip side, it shows why so many people are excited about Rust. You can pick up literally any valuable thing off the ground that made the mistake of being built around C++, like CUDA, slap it on Rust, and people will both adopt it and be excited to contribute to it.
