Trouble with TRT is it requires either injections, or extremely expensive (in the US) patches. Most people aren’t going to be comfortable giving themselves intramuscular injections every couple of weeks. Going to the hospital to do it takes time and (where I live) about $100/injection. Also, unless your T is way, way too low (not merely in the bottom of the “normal” range, like it is for most men over 40), your insurance will not cover it. But yeah, the benefits are real, even at modest doses - after a few months you can realistically lose 10-20lbs, without doing anything specific to lose weight. The bedroom situation will get a bit livelier, but don’t expect miracles there. Importantly - don’t expect to notice the benefits right away. It takes at least a month to notice anything at the “physician” doses.
